Faces of Ajrakh

This is Soofian and Junaid, two of Ismail's sons. They are second in command to Ismail in Ajrakhpur. While I was in town, Ismail was away on business (he will be back on November 6th), so I met mostly with Soofian during my visits here.

These are two other Ajrakh printers from Dhamadka. They print silk fabrics. They came to Ajrakhpur to deliver some silk fabrics.

Dhamadka was the main center for Ajrakh printing before it was destroyed by the earthquake of 2001. Ajrakhpur is a new village that was created after the earthquake.
